The word Krishna means “the all-attractive one” – someone who possesses all beauty, all strength, all wealth, all fame, all knowledge and all renunciation in full. All beauty that exists everywhere in people, nature, various living entities, heavenly beings and so on exists simultaneously and in its entirety in Krishna who is the source of it all. Impossible to imagine, isn’t it? The same goes for wealth, strength, fame, knowledge, and renunciation.
Lord Brahma in his Brahma Samhita prayers recites as follows: “I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, the first progenitor who is tending the cows, yielding all desire, in abodes built with spiritual gems, surrounded by millions of purpose trees, always served with great reverence and affection by hundreds of thousands of laksmis or gopis.”
